When I found out I was having another girl I was so excited!! As an Interior Stylist and Lifestyle Blogger at The Posh Home I was overjoyed to start working on my youngest daughter's nursery. The nursery I designed for my oldest daughter is more shabby chic which you can see here. I wanted to do something a little different this time. I utilized some traditional and modern pieces for a more transitional feel. My goal was to create a functional, fun, beautiful space for my daughter. I found this fun dresser that was in serious need of a new paint job at a local market. I decided to paint it a light peachy pink to give the room a fun pop of color against the white walls. The dresser is my favorite piece in the nursery! We did wood molding painted in a bright white as an accent wall and painted the other walls the same white color to brighten up the room. I found gold frames for above the crib and fun prints from Etsy which were an amazing bargain! I went with a wood bead chandelier to add some additional light in the room in neutral colors. I decided to layer a jute rug with my sheepskin rug to add some additional texture and comfort in the space. I sewed on the trim to my curtains and was lucky enough to have my mom sew the crib skirt! I loved this simple buffalo check crib sheet and thought it completed my space! Hope you have enjoyed my nursery reveal!
