The Posh Home Baby Girl Nursery Reveal

Description

I was so excited when I found out I was having a girl and was thrilled to put together her nursery.  It was the one room in the house I could make feminine and girly and not drive my husband too crazy.  As a design student and lifestyle and interior design blogger I love to make spaces beautiful and functional.  Since we were having a girl I wanted to design a shabby chic, dreamy, and peaceful nursery.  When we moved into our home I was 7 months pregnant and had little time to piece the space together so it has been a work in progress.  I started shopping at vintage markets and found her dresser/changing table.  The dresser was a mess when we bought it but I had a vision of refinishing it a peach/pink blush color and loved the way it came together.  I found the crib from Restoration Hardware Baby & Child it gave me the vintage feel I was going for.  One of my favorite art pieces I purchased from Made By Girl and refinished the frame I placed it in.  I fell in love with Hygge & West's Daydream wallpaper and knew I had to have that as a feature in her nursery.  I started piecing together items that I loved and completed her nursery after her first birthday!  I guess you could say I had a lot going on with becoming a new Mom and a move.  This room is one of my favorites and I love spending time in there.
