Description
I wanted to create a space that felt warm and comforting but didn't scream baby. Even though we were planning to find out the sex, my husband and I both knew from the get go we wanted to start with a gender neutral base and go from there.
Design Inspiration
I don't like things too matchy/matchy so I collected pieces from here and there that I knew I wanted to incorporate into the nursery. Somehow it all just came together!

Favorite Items
There are so many aspects I love about this room, it's too hard to choose just one!!! I love how the shadowbox turned out, it has her coming home outfit, hospital bracelets, information card and little bows the nurses put in her hair. I got the idea from Pinterest. I also love her crib, dresser and glider. They were the big splurge items and will grow with her as she gets older.
Advice
Pick pieces that can grow with your baby and don't rush it. We started very early and took our time. I think that is key to creating the perfect space!

I just love that chandelier, especially the flower crystals at the top.

The chandelier is just gorgeous! And I love the bookshelves. (Although I think these two don't really go together. One goes for a fab look while the other goes shabby chic.)
