Super Hero Nursery

Description

Nursery designed for a avid comic book collector's first son. All furniture and bedding Pottery Barn. Wall decor and framed artwork are from the client's collection. The room has grown and evolved more today. On one wall in vinyl letters we wrote"wake up. it's time to save your world"

Design Inspiration

Father is a collector and wanted to use his collection in the nursery.

Decorating Style

Either on a budget or no budget, I love to help people see their vision come to life.

Project Details

All furniture, bedding and accessories including baskets, liners glider, bassinet and changing table and paint were from Pottery Barn. We also picked up a few items from Target and The book store.

Advice

Even if the theme seems strange for a newborn, it can happen. It has beena fun room for this child and everyone loves it.

It's great when parents give a piece of what they love most and incorporate it into the nursery. I think this is a good thing. On the other hand, it makes me think about the parents not giving the kid's room a personality of its own. But I guess babies really don't mind yet. =)

We found the T at Dillards. It was silver and we painted it red. Somethimes you can find things like this at HomeGoods or Marshall's. Good Luck!
