Spring Brunch

Description

This year for Easter we had family over for a spring brunch. We have had a COLD winter so it was fun to finally put together something springy! I used fresh spring green and yellow with white. I thought the springy neutral colors would make some of these ideas great for a baby shower or spring bridal shower.

Design Inspiration

SPRING! And things that I had around the house. I did not want to spend a fortune on this brunch so I started with the topiaries that I already had and used those tie hold up my flag bunting. I went from there with the green and added a fresh yellow as the other main color.

Decorating Style

Vintage, nature, farm chic, sometimes with contemporary twist.

Project Details

Mostly everything I had around the house. The topiaries I have had for about 10 years at least...the white branches were recently picked up at TJ max for my mantel and all of the dishes are in my regular rotation. I got the pomettes from Pomflair on ETSY. I used natural burlap on the table and in the baskets holding the egg fritattas on the brunch food table. The cupcake holders were purchased from Walmart for only $6 in black and I spray painted them soft yellow to match the theme. I love that I can transform them for about $3 for any occasion!

Favorite Items

My  old topiaries and handmade flag bunting. I also like the sweet little doily bunting that I made to hang in the dining room doorway. Hard to see in photos....but it was lacey and pretty.

Advice

Look around your house first! You can get creative and save lots of money using what you already have in fresh new ways!

Everything looks delish! Yum! I love how you presented the goodies. Yellow and green are very representative of spring.
