Soothing Nursery

Design Inspiration

Our favourite baby shop - Baby Cottons. It dictated the theme and the peaceful soothing feel. :-)

Decorating Style

We believe that children should be allowed to be children. To us, this means spaces where they can grow and develop their personalities in a safe, relaxing and at the same time stimulating environment - and that is what we aim to create! We use only natural materials such as linen and cotton because they are healthier and truly more beautiful. We love to source vintage furniture and accessories that add extra character and can be adapted to fit a child's needs but we also design lasting custom furniture and built-ins. And we are big on storage and organization, absolute essentials in any space.

Project Details

The crib and dresser are vintage by Pali, made in Italy. The side table was a vintage table we refinished. The bookcase was custom-made. The wall colour is Benjamin Moore Manchester Tan. The decor was inspired by our favourite baby shop, Baby Cottons. All fabrics are vintage Laura Ashley. The chair is an Ikea chair. The wall decor is also Baby Cottons. www.babycottons.com www.lauraashley.co.uk http://www.pali-design.com/

I know I'm a little late to this post - but is that a llama stuffed animal between the crib and chair?!

I NEED one, please tell me where I can find one!

I like everything about this nursery. The soothing wall color, white chair, airy curtains, and furniture are perfect. The mobile and pictures are precious accessories that complete the room.

Hi Batya! They were window decor for a collection at Baby Cottons a couple of years ago - we know the owner and he was kind enough to give it to us!
