When we found out we were having a girl (we have a 9 year old son), I immediately wanted to go with soft pinks, golds, and ivory/creams for the her room. Which is crazy because I always said if I every have a girl I will never go with pink! And several months before I found out I was pregnant, I started liking pink. That should have been an indicator right then, but I was clueIess..LOL!  I was going to go with a princess type theme, but then changed my mind after searching Pinterest for different ideas. At first, the room was going to be more centered around the crown teester, but then I wanted more of a shabby chic and sophisticated nursery. Soft pinks with different shades of gold and ivory/creams throughout the room. I made her crib bedding (with the exception of the crib rail guard), flower curtain tie backs, personalized pillows(on the chaise), changing pad cover, and double sided door stopper. My brother painted my son’s old crib in a metallic gold/champagne. Also, I made a liner for the bassinet/stroller piece that will be her hamper and then could be used for dolls or whatever she would like! We removed the closet door and I went with the curtains instead. So happy with the way her room turned out!!!

      Stephanie,

Great post. This is the most beautiful nursery I’ve ever seen. Can you let me know the size of your verse on the wall? I reached out to the girl who made it on Etsy and she’s not sure…

      Thank you!!!

      Hi Meliza,
Thank you so much! I really enjoyed designing my baby girls room!!! Somewhere around 15″by 30″, I believe. I searched through my conversations with this seller to see and that is what I found in our conversations. I hope this helps :) If you have anymore questions, let me know :) Blessings!

Thank you. One more thing…how did you do the gold trim between the ceiling and wall? The dark pink is overlapping and looks absolutely perfect. Please lmk when you can! Thank you Stephanie.

      Meliza,
You are welcome :) I’m not sure where you are talking about? Maybe you saw this in another nursery?

      Hi Stephanie,

I absolutely love the flower “B”. I tried looking up the seller on Etsy but no luck. Would you mind telling me the dimensions of the B and the frame?

      Hi Candice,
The wooden “B” is 18″ tall. It appears that seller is no longer on etsy. They did paint it for me and then I hot glued the flowers on it. There are many sellers on etsy who offer large wooden letters and in many different fonts. I do not know what font my daughter’s “B” is in. The frame I got at Hobby Lobby. I believe it is 20″x24″. I hope this helps :) If you have anymore questions I would be happy to answer them :)

      Stephanie,

Thank you so much! I was able to grab all the supplies from hobby lobby and create the “B” myself ☺️

      Jean,
Thank you so much! :) I bought the three tier stand at Hobby Lobby and bought the pink champagne indoor/outdoor spray paint at Home Depot. The three tier stand was originally black.

The room is breathtaking!! But the dresser and chest is exactly what I’m looking for! May I ask where they came from??
