She’s About To Pop! Celebration of Baby Liam 2015.

Description

My cousins threw me this awesome About To Pop themed baby shower in honor of my son who is due November 20th, 2015.

Design Inspiration

My cousins and I browsed Pinterest for theme ideas, and in the end we chose the About To Pop theme. It was different, and the colors for it were different from your usual boy themed color schemes! It also gave us quite a few lanes in the unique ideas for design category.

Decorating Style

We concentrated on the tables, with minimal wall decoration per request of the home owner.

Project Details

Containers such as wine glasses, lemonade stand, trays, etc: Walmart, Dollar Tree, Party City

Candy: Party City, Dollar Tree, Amazon, Walmart

POP and Liam letters: Michael's Arts and Crafts store, the Liam letters were bought and hand painted. They will make a great addition over his crib!

Popcorn bags: Party City

Cheesecake Cups: Made by family member @ah_mor_rie (Instagram)

PopCorn Cupcakes: Kupcakes by Ky

Water Bottles Labels, Invites (Not Pictured), Door Signs: Etsy. I ordered water bottle label stickers by Avery on Amazon. I had the door signs and Invites printed out at Staples.

Microwaveable Popcorn Bags: I actually stumbled across some free printables the day before the shower and printed them out but I didn't save the site I found them on :-(. Google search was "Free Microwave Popcorn Wrappers"

Gift Bag Goodies: 5 Below. This is a really good store for low priced gift bag favors, we had nail polish, face scrub, hand lotion, hand sanitizer, and all the bags were different.

Also to save $$$ we took shortcuts such as the lemonade we simply used Country Time 2 liter bottles and added the strawberries and lemons in.

Preggatini recipes were found via Pinterest. Amazingly simply and quite tasty.

Also we used Pinterest for a lot of ideas and went back and forth on details like games and setup.

Favorite Items

My favorite items were the handpainted silver Liam letters, I'm putting them above his crib! Also I loved the preggatinis (mocktails) they added a cute flair to the shower.
