I wanted to design a room that the baby could grow into. I knew from the beginning that I wanted a tree mural so once I chose that & the colors everything else just came together.

Project Details
The tree mural was done by a local muralist: Artworks by Marcine
The crib bedding was custom ordered from modpeapod. I did not find anything in the stores that I particularly liked and this went perfectly with the color scheme. It can be a bit pricey but the materials used are of good quality and the finished product looks great!
The crib and dresser/changing table was from Costco & extremely reasonably priced.
The shelf on the wall was from Ikea (BILLY wall shelf) and can be found online.
The Kelcie Swivel Glider was a good find at $249 from Walmart.
The closet shelves are from the Container Store (ELFA unit) and can be customized anyway you'd like!
The monogram on the wall was custom ordered on Etsy & I painted it when I received it. It can either be spray painted or painted with any acrylic paint. I got mine from Michael's.
Favorite Items
Definitely the tree mural & crib bedding are my favorite. Although I love the closet as well. The shelves can be moved around and reconfigured as the baby gets older!
Advice
A similar theme can be achieved for a girl's room. I would suggest picking colors that you like for the tree leaves and designing around that.
