Shared Nursery

Description

My 18 month old daughter and her new baby sister, due August 1, will be sharing a room due to the lack of space in our cozy rental home! I knew the look that I wanted to achieve and the fun part was doing it all on a extremely small budget, forcing my creative brain to take control :) This is still a work in progress and i plan on uploading photo's of the finished project when I am completely done!

Design Inspiration

A file folder that I found at walmart. The color's and bold pattern inspired most of my idea's in the room.

Decorating Style

Thrifty. There are so many styles that I love I could not choose just one! That is like asking me which one of my children I love the most. I like Simple, Neutral, and Functional styles that can easily be changed by adding new throw pillows or window treatments!! Since my budget is small I have to be creative to get the look that I want.

Advice

Find a look that you want, become inspired and just do it! You don't have to have a lot of money in order to have a space that is fabulous and truely makes you happy!

You really succeeded in putting all these ecclectic things together.  It's like having the room decorated by different designers and still acheiving that beautiful look!

I love how you made the cribs symmetrical to each other.  It's like looking into a mirror.

This room is a great room for darling little girls.  I love that pink nightstand, is that painted over or did you buy it like that?

I love the pacifiers in the apothocary glass! What a cute idea :)
