Shabby Chic & Cheap

Description

Here is my first babies nursery! She is due to be here in just a few days. This nursery was done on a budget. Most all finds came from antique and thrift stores.

Design Inspiration

Vintage style. I didnt want a specific theme like you find at a big box store.

Decorating Style

Shabby Chic, Vintage

Favorite Items

The vintage buffet that we painted from black to white, and added new knobs. This works perect as a changing table and will grow with our little one.

Advice

You cannot shop the antique stores enough. Keep an open mind, remember most anything can be painted if it isnt the color you had in mind.

Where did you find the wire basket hanging on the wall?  I’ve been looking for something similar.

YAY!!! Pastels pastels pastels all around, which I think is perfect for baby angels :)

I absolutely love the knick-knacks you have here, but you have to tell me, WHERE DID YOU BUY that chest… on the third shelf of that corner display cabinet you have there…

This actually reminds me of my own room when I was a young girl :)

I can imagine you laboring over all those details and putting them all together. It must have been fun.

OMG have you given birth yet?  Congratulations! :)

Am not exactly a fan of vintage girly stuff, but I think you made a great room here.  I love that chandelier and what you did with it with the matching colors in the candles and the fabric.
