Scarlett’s Coral, Mint, and Gold Vintage Lace Nursery

Description

We wanted to create a vintage inspired nursery for baby Scarlett to enjoy as an infant, and be able to grow in to later too. I love how the nursery is a fresh take on some of the most popular color and style trends, the entire room seems peaceful and playful at the same time.

Design Inspiration

The inspiration was the Sparkle Baby Bedding from Caden Lane, and that gorgeous white lace crib skirt! Our color palette was coral, mint, and lots of gold and lace accents.

Decorating Style

This nursery is the perfect combination of eclectic, trendy, and vintage. I love the use of old furniture pieces, the gold painted ends on the spindle crib, and the metallic wood wings are such a statement piece! The room is filled with DIY projects, and everything was on a budget. I love the soft pastel background with the pops of color, texture, and GOLD.

Advice

Always start with the bedding! Textiles are a great way to inspire design and help create a color palette and style for the space. Whether your wanting white walls with pops of color, or a sweet combination of subtle hues - never be afraid to go big, the most amazing design is always something you've never seen before! Let the creative juices flow - baby deserves only the best!

Beautiful! I love the aqua, coral & gold together. This is the colors that I am doing my 10 year old’s room with.
A vintage beach/mermaid theme. She wants a darker aqua…like the color waterfall that is right below the color that you chose. (on the chart) I love the softer color! I love everything about this room!!!
