Last minute nursery.Design Inspiration
I wanted to create a nursery that went along with the style of the rest of our home and also wanted something that was timeless and something she could grow into. Once I found the wallpaper I went fabric shopping for the crib and it took off from there.
Decorating Style
Antique, whimsical, bohemian
Project Details
This was all done in 3 days. We were rushing to have a nursery before the baby shower and managed to come out with this. I found the chandelier at Lowe's for a really good price and painted the wicks at home to match the nursery. I found the crib & changing table on craigslist. I was also lucky enough to have a mother in law that was able to make the bumper, a mom to make the curtains (with fabric on clearance at Joannes) and who hung the wallpaper as well. That saved us thousands!
Favorite Items
Love the wallpaper and the way the bumper/crib skirt ties in. I also love the chandelier. I also am really happy with all the furniture. I found it all used off craigslist or at my moms house.
Advice
The wallpaper wasn't cheap. If you want to incorporate it into your nursery but are on a budget just do one wall rather than the entire room.
I found it… for anyone else who would like the info…it is from Amy Butler and called Momento Sunset.
Can you tell me where you got this wallpaper. I can’t find it anywhere and I am in love with it! Thanks
Emily
Will you post a picture of the chandelier. I am afraid the one I ordered is going to be too big.
I absolutely love this nursery! It looks wonderful and you did a really great job. I own a baby blog, http://www.bluebirdkisses.com and would love to feature this in it to give other moms some great ideas of what they would maybe want to design for their own babies. Please let me know if that’s something you’d be interested in. My email is info@bluebirdkisses.com Thank you :)
