Project Details

I purchased each piece of furniture seperate because I liked it and ended up saving a ton of money. The crib is Jenny Lind from babies R us, Changing table from Bergstroms and the Vintage dresser is from an antique shop in Torrance, ca.

I really wanted my daughters bedding to be different that no one else had, but didn't want to spend my entire savings to get it. I ended up at the OC marketplace and found the Baby guy. He has SO many different types of fabrics to choose from at a great price. He made everything~ even her mobile, hamper, boppy cover and changing table cover. He is awesome!

The pictures and wall decal are all purchased through Etsy.

Favorite Items

My favorite item is her Vintage dresser. I love it so much and no one else can get it! It's one of a kind :)

Advice

Do what you want and get what you like~ Don't worry about matching pieces. It will all fit together in the end.

Hi Angelsbreath! I am so happy you noticed the rocking chair…it was made by my husbands great grandfather in 1932! My dad completely refurbished the chair and it now looks brand new!  My husbands grandma was rocked in that chair, along with my husbands mom and now our daughter! We will pass the chair on to her when she has babies of her own… its a very very special rocking chair :)

I am not really a fan of red-and-blue, but I have to say you got good taste in furniture, I love the pieces you chose, and it’s nice to know you saved tons of money by purchasing each piece separately. I especially love the little rocking chair.

Cherry nursery indeed! Such a bold color scheme you chose. And I am intrigues by this “Baby guy” you mentioned. What’s the name of his shop?
