Sadie’s Birdie Nursery

Description

I wanted to create a "birdie" themed room for Sadie using the CoCo Dot pottery barn kids bedding.  We transformed this extra bedroom into a peaceful room with great pinks, bluish greens, and chocolate.  The color of the walls make this room a unique little girl room!

Decorating Style

I love a mixture of homemade touches with unique store bought finds.  I don't know my style!! =)

Project Details

Pottery Barn kids bedding, drapes

Best Chair

Stuffed bird/owl-Target

Paint-Benjamin Moore antiguan sky

Favorite Items

My favorites in the room are the unique wall decal, the drapes, and the little birdie touches here and there.

Advice

Give yourself time to look for inspiration in magazines, and other nurseries, and then get creative with what you have, and what you can find!  I was able to copy a lot of ideas with my fabric wall art from magazines for much cheaper than going out and buying art for the walls!

Would you mind telling us the source for the mobile? I’m wanting to do coco dots too..and I haven’t found anything that matches so well.

Nice choice of wall color. It appears powder blue in natural light, but when you’re not using natural light and have the lamp on, it looks like it has a shade of blue.
