This little nursery is such a perfect blend of modern and rustic elements. Things like reclaimed wood and unique worn metal details are mixed with bold color and a faux taxidermy too. We designed this room the grow with the baby boy so we choose some more mature items that could be used later on.

Known for our fresh and innovative approach to planning, Widell Designs maintains a boutique sensibility and a firm belief that with an intimate client base we can provide you unparalleled service through your life “events.” Barette Widell, a California native, moved to Philadelphia at the age of 19 to dance with the Pennsylvania Ballet. She danced with the company for 9 seasons, 5 of which she was a soloist, culminating in her retirement in December 2012. Throughout her career as a ballerina, Barette assisted in the planning of many events and weddings. It was during this period that she grew a huge amount of love and respect for wedding planning, which ultimately lead her to planning her very own destination wedding in San Jose Del Cabo in November 2011. While on summer lay off from Pennsylvania Ballet, Barette accepted an internship with the prestigious public relations company, Cashman & Associates. During her tenure at Cashman, Barette assisted in the planning and coordinating of many events. While still at Pennsylvania Ballet, Barette also worked part time as an Event Coordinator for Capezio Dancewear. Upon retiring, she transitioned into a full time position at Capezio as Event Coordinator. Barette soon realized that her passion was in wedding planning and having already culminated one career that she was very passionate about; Barette decided to follow her dreams and started Widell Designs.

Can you tell me the paint color you used here? I love the fact that is doesn’t look black at low light even though it is a Navy.

Thanks so much for your time in responding.

      Best,
      Vanessa
