Description
This room was a lot of fun to create! It was all about creating a unified color scheme with lots of textures and 'found' things for a mismatched organic feel yet cohesive. Mint, coral and gold touches give it a soft feminine element while vintage a rustic pieces bring lots of character.
Design Inspiration
Color was the starting point. The inspiration came from a vintage teacup and some family heirlooms; Gold vintage ornaments. A spin off of shabby chic.
Decorating Style
I use a lot of vintage pieces and mix and match with modern colors and forms to give the decor a 'collected' look.

Contemporary pops everywhere from rustic collectibles. Colour scheme is relaxing for calming and cheery to awake to.
