Favorite Items

The mushroom lamp table.  It looks like a normal mushroom during the day, and a starry night style mushroom when lit at night.

Also, the pregnant tree and the doors.

Advice

Commit to completely finishing each layer.  This gives the mural much more depth and helps to make a small space not get swallowed up in the complete coverage of the walls.

Plan ahead for where your furniture will be so you don't have to cover something you loved painting.

Even though I used no VOC paints (I waited for a paint sale to purchase to save a little money), I still wore a mask the entire time because I was painting while pregnant.

Use a limited color palate to keep the feeling consistent.  Choose inviting and warm colors with strong contrasts to not loose  the details.
