Description
Reid's blue and green nursery is a collection of old and new. The outfit I came home from the hospital in as a baby hangs framed on the wall, an antique rocking chair sits on the floor, and in the corner is the chair my best friend and I painted in seventh grade. The wrought iron crib, a big comfy chair, and the changing table were all new purchases. One of my favorite things in the room are the canvas silhouettes my mom painted of my husband and me when we were children.
Design Inspiration
I first saw a picture of this valance and fell in love. It was the inspiration for the whole nursery. I then decided on bedding in blues and greens. The baby blue color gave the room a boy nursery feel and the green lattice pattern was just enough to not overdo the baby feel.
Decorating Style
Modern, fun, bright, colorful. I like mixing the old with the new.
