Design Inspiration
I first found the colorful rug and wanted a retro chic, non-traditional nursery. I pulled colors from the rug to create two green accent walls and clean lines to create a soothing atmosphere.

Start with one item that you love and build inspiration around it. Start with a color, a theme, a favorite sheet, a favorite piece of furniture, a picture for the wall, and begin to build inspiration piece by piece.

I love the unpolished look of that cabinet. Was hoping that it matches the bookshelf you have there on the lamp. But very good design!

In other rooms, that rug would have looked horrendous! But you made it real eyecatching and it blended well with the rest of the elements.
