Purple and gray girly nursery!

Description

I wanted this nursery to be girly, but not TOO over the top pink and purple.  I decided on gray walls to tone it down and also a fab gray and white zebra print rug to take away some of the frill and add some sass.  I love the way it turned out and I can't wait for little miss Ava to see it!

Design Inspiration

Lots of Pottery Barn Kids catalogs, Project Nursery and HGTV rate my space browsing!

Advice

Don't buy EVERYTHING from a specific line...mix it up.  You don't have to buy the whole bedding set etc.  Things look best when they are a little miss-matched :o)  Oh, and if you can't find it- MAKE IT!

beautiful nursery. love that shade of purple. nice to see instead of the usual pink overload in so many girl nurseries. the hints of pink are perfect. ***p.s. is that a cat on the changing table in some pictures? my 2 cats LOVE our old changing table. one of my cats is on it right now haha. fur babies always look cute on/in human baby items. :)

Very beautiful nursery. I love your color scheme. Didn’t know purple and grey are great together. And that butterfly art on the wall is absolutely fab and pretty!
