Design Inspiration

Putting nursery for our first daughter was a very exciting project for me, my wish was to create a white nursery :) however, since the nursery is located shared with our bedroom that already has a gray theme, and all black furniture, we came up with the idea of creating a chic and modern nursery. 

After hundreds of browsing through the internet, specially 'project nursery', I was inspired by nurseries that has the same theme, i.e gray theme. Our wish is Quorra will love her nursery :)

Decorating Style

Modern, wise use of space :) and girly but not too girly ;p, and I'm trying to keep the nursery, clean and neat all the time...

Project Details

All the furniture placed in the nursery were made by order. We only have limited options here in Jakarta as to nurseries stuff, too bad we don't have pottery barn kids and ikea here :( . We order the dressing table and the crib, the same color as other furniture placed in our room.

The most expensive item in this nursery is only the crib, its cost 300USD to made such crib, other than that all were bought with bargain price :)

Favorite Items

the tiny cupboard on the dressing table, used for essentials organizer, including cotton balls and headbands :) it is cute and very useful, other is the rattan baskets placed under the dressing table, to place many various baby stuff. 

other favorite item is the wall decal... giving a colorful touch to the nursery corner. 

Advice

Create a nursery adjusting your available budget, don't get swamp on the excitement, and make sure all things placed in the nursery all have function and suits your lifestyle.
