Preppy and Rustic Big Boy Room

When we moved in to our new home I wanted to give my oldest son (4.5) a new room that felt age appropriate now but that he could grow in to. I wanted it to have a preppy and traditional feel but also some more boyish and rustic elements. I love the way it turned out – it feels unique and I love the way we mixed styles from the more rustic dresser to the campaign style nightstands to the preppy bedding and custom drapery. I feel like it’s a room he can enjoy and will feel age appropriate for years to come without feeling too “themed”.
