I found a room on Project Nursery that I adored and worked with some of her beautiful ideas and added my own history of being a little girl.  It has been a lot of fun putting this together and I hope it inspires others to continue the tradition of creating a fun wonderland for your little one.

This room took me the full 9 months of pregnancy to create.  I would have to say the hardest part was the stripes on the wall.  The best advice is to do the light color all over than measure your stripes and add them after it’s dried.

I'm a mom of a 10-year-old boy and we are now excited to welcome a little girl into our family. My mom always had the most beautiful rooms for me when I was little so it's important to me that my children have an oasis for themselves.

How do you paint the stripes? Is there a special tool/roller you use to achieve the straight lines….etc.?? Thank you!

      Amy,

We measured the entire room and penciled the width we wanted and continued measuring from there. We used one of those 365 degree lazers that sticks on the wall to sketch it out. It’s a monumental task we didn’t plan on being so hard. We also discovered her room was built a little crooked haha so be prepared for your OCD to come out.
