Project Details

The clients for wanted evoke the feel and flair of Paris for their daughter's room.  The baby is due in February, 2012.

The ornate crib, changing table and glider were found at New Baby Products in Atlanta.   The glider has a delicate pink stripe. A shelf was added around the room to break up the wall and allow for two colors.  The ceiling was painted  pink (from David Bromstead's collection) to add drama and height to the room.  Having a shelf around the room allows for books, pictures and toys to create a happy and playful atmosphere. A custom sized area rug adds a light color to the room.  White sheer IKEA curtains with a circular pattern add a touch of whimsy. The bedding in pink, cream and a touch of brown is from a collection at Traget.  The valance to this set finished off the small window in the bathroom  and ties the rooms together.
The bathroom was painted brown to coordinate with the existing tile.  In order to bring in the pink of the room an ornate mirror was added (from IKEA) and was painted in two shades of pink. An Eiffel tower with cyrstals that was converted into a night light to add shimmer to the ceiling. A small chest with mirrored front completed the room and provided the perfect spot to hang a family heirlom quilt pattern above it. Design services by Dennis Adams Designs.  www.dennisadamsdesigns.com1516 Howell Mill Road Suite 5 Atlanta, GA 30318 404-556-0945

Gorgeous and fabulous nursery! I am loving the white, elegant and delicately carved furniture and the mix of pinks and other subdued tones. The Eiffel Tower with crystals is also beautiful! Where did you get it?

I love that re-painted Ikea mirror! A lot of times good design take a little bit of imagination and creativity, which was definitely found here!
