Description
For Paisley's nursery, we wanted to go with a sweet, whimsical theme. I love pink, but I didn't want to be overwhelming with it, so we chose soft shades of green and contrasted with pinks. Our friend (and Paisley's Godfather) custom painted the mural on the wall.
Design Inspiration
I was looking through nursery idea galleries, and saw lots of different tree decals. I loved the idea of the silhouette with a whimsy flare. My daughter's name is Paisley, and while I wanted there to be paisley items in the room, I did not want it to be overwhelming. I think we found a good balance.
Decorating Style
I have a variety of styles. I try to think outside of the box.

Advice
While we splurged on some things, we did find a lot of ways to save money on this room. The painting of the stripes was done by my husband, and the mural was done for us by our daughter's Godfather as a gift. We found a lot of great stuff on Amazon.com.
