Bright, fun and colorful nursery on a budget!
Bright, fun and colorful nursery on a budget!
This is a nursery for my baby girl. It started as a neutral room, because we didn’t know the sex. We then added pink accents after peyton was born.
I knew I wanted my little girl to have a purple and green room, and I didn’t want anything to “themey”. I had so many ideas in my head it was so hard to control myself. I love DIY stuff and I wanted to try and making so much as I could on my own.
This is our baby girl Claire’s nursery. We really enjoyed decorating it and after having a boy I think I went a little crazy on the pink!
Fire truck themed 2nd birthday party.
I wanted a timeless, gender-neutral nursery that can easily transition to a toddler room and beyond.
Due to limited space and twins on the way ~ this family needed to convert this tiny guest nook into a full fledge bedroom for their growing toddler.
The Goal: To make this tiny tiny space a fun and cozy bedroom fit for a growing toddler.
The Challenge: It’s a tiny TINY space!
I made my daughter an Alice in Wonderland inspired first birthday party. While planning this party I fell in love with party planning and decided to make a career change.
For Caroline’s December birthday, I wanted a cozy feel so I chose a site with a large fireplace, leather sofas, wood paneled walls, and an intimate spot for everyone to be together. I wanted mostly white foods. I’m disappointed I didn’t get a better picture of the cozy fireplace area.
1st Birthday
We have a three bedroom house and two kids, so we needed a multi-functional room. The room has to function as a space for my growing toddler, but it is also used as a guest room when friends and family come visit. The challenge was squeezing a queen size bed and a crib in a relatively small bedroom.
A Fall brunch baby girl shower.
Addelyn’s birthday being so close to Christmas brings a lot of challenges! We wanted to pick a theme that was special to her birthday, not Christmassy, but still incorporating winter. We thought adding lots of silver and white with pops of pink, would give it that classic look without being over the top princess.
This is my first and highly anticipated nursery decor project. I loved researching every little detail for this project – and there are a lot. I knew I was having a wee little lad but didn’t want to go to blue or too dark. They are just babies for a short period of time so I went soft grey, yellow and a splash of turquoise.
Wanted something super girly and sophisticated. A room that she could grow with.
I love planning parties, so I couldn’t wait to throw one for my little man turning one. My son loves animals, so I decided to arrange a visit from Henry the donkey. The kids were so excited to meet him, and have a chance to sit on his back for a photo op.
We knew our son Jack would have a pirate party at some point, but we wanted to wait until he was old enough to appreciate it. He had so much fun! This whole party is DIY.
This bedroom I created included Bratt Decor Chelsea Lifetime Antique Silver furniture.
First baby, first grandchild, first niece… this little one was already spoiled in the womb. My amazing sister Evonne knew right away she wanted to plan my baby shower and after months of her dealing with my craziness the day finally arrived. I wanted it to be light, airy and pink! I usually shy away from too much pink but in this case it was just perfect. We took the design inspiration from the invitations, Pinterest & Etsy and threw in some DIY projects, which made it so personal and beautiful!
