Due to limited space and twins on the way ~ this family needed to convert this tiny guest nook into a full fledge bedroom for their growing toddler.
The Goal: To make this tiny tiny space a fun and cozy bedroom fit for a growing toddler.
The Challenge: It’s a tiny TINY space!
Annelise’s Birds and Nesting Baby Shower
Birds and Nesting Baby Shower themed for a baby girl.
Scratch Off Cards Gender Reveal
We had a unique way to announce our pregnancy to our parents so we wanted to do something equally as unique to let them know the gender of the baby.
We ended up creating scratch-off cards to reveal the gender. We wanted to do something different than what we have seen other couple’s do but keep it really casual. We asked our parents to sit around the table, gave them a coin and waited for their response.
Unique Pregnancy Announcement Using Our Dog!
We wanted a unique way to announce our pregnancy to our family and friends. We decided to use our first child, the furry child, the dog.
Rose’s Party in Wonderland
I made my daughter an Alice in Wonderland inspired first birthday party. While planning this party I fell in love with party planning and decided to make a career change.
Watson’s Primary Color Preppy Boy Nursery
We purchased our home almost four years ago and have been slowly renovating each room. We saved the third bedroom for last always knowing it would be the future nursery. Before we began, we had to remove the layers of wallpaper on both the walls and the ceiling! We wanted everything in the nursery to be able to be used once he is a toddler which included all furniture and the design.
Caroline’s Cozy First Birthday
For Caroline’s December birthday, I wanted a cozy feel so I chose a site with a large fireplace, leather sofas, wood paneled walls, and an intimate spot for everyone to be together. I wanted mostly white foods. I’m disappointed I didn’t get a better picture of the cozy fireplace area.

Toddler Room that Doubles as a Guest Room
We have a three bedroom house and two kids, so we needed a multi-functional room. The room has to function as a space for my growing toddler, but it is also used as a guest room when friends and family come visit. The challenge was squeezing a queen size bed and a crib in a relatively small bedroom.
Winter Woodlands Baby Shower
A Fall brunch baby girl shower.
Arctic Explorer 1st birthday party
Having a winter birthday party in Brooklyn, NY forced a little extra creativity. Outside lavish garden parties with lovely tents and strings of lights just wouldn’t really be ideal in this climate. Although those are the kinds of parties I dream of throwing! I kept seeing winter party ideas but none of them really fit into my vision. I wanted something with a stronger theme to build upon. Then I had this idea of an Arctic Explorer theme!

Baby H’s Room
This is a gender neutral baby’s room for our little one that is due in January. We are currently living in my parent’s home, so couldn’t make too many changes to the room or have anything be too permanant.
Addelyn’s Winter Princess Wonderland
Addelyn’s birthday being so close to Christmas brings a lot of challenges! We wanted to pick a theme that was special to her birthday, not Christmassy, but still incorporating winter. We thought adding lots of silver and white with pops of pink, would give it that classic look without being over the top princess.
Baby Scholes’ Grey, Yellow and Turquoise Eclectic Nursery
This is my first and highly anticipated nursery decor project. I loved researching every little detail for this project – and there are a lot. I knew I was having a wee little lad but didn’t want to go to blue or too dark. They are just babies for a short period of time so I went soft grey, yellow and a splash of turquoise.
Little Man in a Big World
Out little client loved geography so our first quest was to find a way to incorporate traveling elements to his room without being excessively themey. We wanted something elegant, inspirational and yet fun for a 6-year-old boy.
Shabby Chic Nursery
Wanted something super girly and sophisticated. A room that she could grow with.
Fiesta 1st Birthday Party
I love planning parties, so I couldn’t wait to throw one for my little man turning one. My son loves animals, so I decided to arrange a visit from Henry the donkey. The kids were so excited to meet him, and have a chance to sit on his back for a photo op.
Ruby’s World
Ruby’s World was my daughter’s 2nd birthday party. I I wanted to do an Elmo themed party for her without all the usual “sesame” stuff. I made the Elmo, Big Bird and Oscar from silk flowers and leaves. My favorite details were the fur and feathered covered cake stands I used on the dessert table and the drawing of the Sesame gang with Ruby. Other Elmo details: I served “Dorothy” sandwiches using Pepperidge Farm goldfish bread. We gave mini trash cans as favors filled with Sesame bath books, Elmo crayon cups, crayons, and Sesame Street story books.
