Time Flies When You’re Having Fun, Evan William is Turning One! (airplane theme)
The theme of the party was vintage airplanes and the color scheme was red, white, blue and navy.

I wanted to use some of the furniture I already had, and painting the crib turned out beter than I could have ever imagined! I love the dark pink accents, and the teal and gray seem to work perfectly together. It’s my favorite room in the house! :-)
Sloane’s nursery is girly, but still sophisticated enough to blend with the rest of our home. It’s a really large room, so we wanted it to double as a guest room and be able to repurpose some of the items down the road. We’re also in a rental apartment, so could only really change the wall color.
A hot pink and gray room for our baby girl.
A gender neutral nursery with pops of color and patterns.
When I started to shop for baby bedding, I was struck by how theme-y the sets are. I would find a crib sheet and quilt that I really liked, but was hit over the head with the theme again & again. Curtains, diaper stackers and bumpers, Oh My! All of which, I had no intention of using. So I decided to avoid an overt theme. and instead try to create a space that Baby Q could grow into and make his own. I mean what if I created a baseball nursery and he grew up to hate sports? I know this is maybe silly and maybe even unlikely, but I tried to create a functional and transitional space for my little one with pretty neutral colors and a loose animal theme. Additionally, at my baby shower guests were asked to bring a children’s book instead of a card. The little guy has quite the library, so we wanted a place to store and display his books. The glider now doubles as a space for feeding & reading with all the books easily accessible without even getting up out of the chair. Reading is important to my husband and I so we really want to pass that on.
Happy Birthday Brinlee! I did a Aqua Chevron and Pink Polka dot party for her 1st birthday!
I wanted a sweet and contemporary theme.
Given the timing of the baptism right before the holidays, it didn’t make sense not to work in a Christmas theme, so taking the inspiration from the Nutcracker, we opted for shades of pink and silver instead of more traditional reds and greens which gave our winter wonderland a more girly, whimsical feel!
I knew that I wanted a theme of some sort for the nursery but really had no idea until I came upon the bedding set while searching online. I immdiately fell in love with the zoo animals and had to have it. Giraffes, Monkeys and Elephants are the main focus of the room with lots of color. Despite me being a quilter and my mother owning a fabric store, I couldn’t for the life of me find anything I liked (or could afford). That was until I saw the “Little Kukla” line from Suzy Ultman. . . . **swoon** I am such a nerd, I actually wrote her a letter proclaiming my ultimate fan status to her work. She never responded. Hahahah.
A small Valentine’s Day party showcasing two of my favorite things: Pink and Chevron!!
Space themed nursery for our new son.
I knew I didn’t want a super themed, matchy-matchy nursery, so I picked out a color scheme and tried to create a clean cut, comfortable room.

We wanted a nursery that was fun, bright and happy so we choose blue, yellow and orange.
The designs include a fun color palette consisting of a bubblegum pink, fuchsia, sunny yellow and navy that cheer for celebration! My goal was to create a party collection that can be easily recreated for children and adult parties and one that can be used for any occasion or event.
We created a fun “ready to pop” baby shower for a friend who was literally ready to pop ( 2 days later:-) )
I wanted to create a nursery for my little guy without using the standard colors such as light blue. I ended up using yellow and teal as my starting colors in the bedding and curtains and then worked my way around the room by adding pops of color. ( sorry for the terrible lighting in some of the pictures)
