Gender Reveal Party
We decided to have a gender reveal party with our family and friends to announce whether we were having a boy or girl!
We decided to have a gender reveal party with our family and friends to announce whether we were having a boy or girl!
This was my eldest daughter’s 6th birthday party. It would be her last party before becoming a big sister and we wanted to let her have the lime light one last time before she had to share LOL
I wanted to create a nursery that was modern but still girly without a lot of pink. All the bedding was custom made by my very talented aunt around Michael Millers fabric Tweet Birdie Tweet.
The Nursery was inspired by wanting to achieve a fun, bright, colorful and inviting room. At the same time, we also wanted the nursery to grow with baby so we created a playful reading nook and toy section.
When we decided to do my baby boy’s nursery (August of last year) the first thought was turquoise and lots and lots of other colors!!!.
We for the baby’s room way before I knew what the gender was. Around August of last year, we bought polka dot decals for the room because I was obsessed with it . The hubby and I put it up and it was…. love at first sight!!
My daughter’s room was left a bit (an understatement) unfinished- I couldn’t make up my mind what I wanted. All I knew was I wanted a room that was elegant and kid-like all at the same time.
The coral and gray make the room feel modern. The white furniture is very classic. The personal touches add whimsy.
A musically inspired pink damask nursery for Melody decorated by her mom and her namesake and grandma, Ody (short for Melody).
I wanted to design a space that was girly with a sense of calm. I did not want the standard baby pink room and knew I wanted to use grey as the main colour so that it could be a room that Addison could grow with. PS check back in a few days I have a couple more projects on the go that I will add when finished.
A girly pink bedroom for two adorable sisters, one 5 yr old and one 2yr old.
Baylor’s Nursery – we didn’t know what his gender was so we had to create a gender neutral nursery – with style of course!

patricio´s monster room
I wanted a nursery that wasn’t ‘babyish’ and that would grow with our little man.
A nursery of coral, teal and white. A bright, fresh space for the expected arrival of a sweet baby girl.
Eli’s nursery was decided to be nautical with an element of whimsy. His mom wanted him to be able to grow with the room.
The nursery is a mixture of neutral colors with pops of blue and teal for a baby boy. And incorporates modern style with woodland owls.
Ava was born with a rare neurogenetic condition called Angelman Syndrome. As part of AS, she suffers from a sleep disorder, seizures, and has many special needs. Her room was designed to be both beautiful and safe, and be functional for caring for a disabled sweetheart! My dad (her Pop) built the bed from an origional design that he and I came up with, and my mom and I painted it to match the rest of her furniture. The dresser was a cheap craigslist find that I repainted, using a design pulled from her bedding.
We wanted Amara’s nursery to reflect two of our favorite things: travel and reading. Almost every piece in the nursery came from our own travels and all of the books are books from mine, my husband’s, and my nephew’s childhood, making every part of this nursery especially meaningful.
At the same time, we wanted this nursery to transition with our daughter as she grows older so we converted the walk-in closet into a mini playroom that she can use as her own play nook when she’s older. We used neutral white fixtures and furniture so that she can decide on her own favorite color for her room as she gets older.
Maris’ room is full of color and fun! I wanted a more girly room than my first baby girl but still quirky and different. I love how it turned out!
