Boho Nursery Room

Neutral colors are my favorites. Decided to go for boho minimalist style to give the room a calm atmosphere for new baby girl .

Baby Boy Neutral Nursery

I love Charlie’s room. I wanted something that would grow with him, and allow me to update it easily. It’s a mix of thrifted and new, with neutral tones & textures.

Boho Nursery

I’m very much a boho styled mama and wanted to translate that into our girl’s nursery. I had an image in my mind and it took some time to acquire all the pieces I wanted, but we did it!

Unicorn Magic

We had a mini magical celebration for our 6 year old.

Over the Moon

This room is very small, so I wanted to make it cozy and dreamy! I chose to do a deep green with a white board and batten wall to create a neutral, moody modern style accent wall. I added touches of stars/moons to create a dreamy gender neutral theme. Adding in the brown/ivory colors along with the wood details also help to make the space look bigger than it really is while keeping it simple.

National Park Shared Boys’ Room

A shared bedroom fit for two adventurous little boys!
I have been working on a little room refresh for our youngest two boys, Conway (3) and Stone (2). The inspiration for their room came from some vintage postcards we bought while on vacation and it has since evolved into a National Park/adventure themed room.
Their room cannot accommodate two twin beds without sacrificing on play space, so I opted for bunk beds! We love how the bunk beds have allowed the boys to have a nice, big area to play and run around. One of the biggest things I did before starting their room refresh was minimize toys. Toys accumulate so quickly around here! The boys have one toy storage cabinet with 9 small, felt bins that holds all of their toys and isn’t an eye sore for their room. If there is one thing I have learned with my boys’ rooms, it’s that less is more!
The star of the room is definitely the Hot Air Balloon wallpaper from Livette’s. Isn’t it darling?! I love the vintage feel it brings to the room and it plays along so well with the National Park theme. I chose to go with hot air balloons to always remind my boys to seek adventure, be brave and fearless and to always “fly” wherever the Lord leads them in life.

Harlow Quinn Nursery

This nursery was so much fun to create for my sweet baby girl Harlow. When I found out I was pregnant I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I absolutely love daisies so I started with that. Project Nursery has the most beautiful wallpaper and it’s such great quality. The two main pieces of the nursery are the daisy print wallpaper and the daisy print matching crib sheet. From there, I wanted to give the rest of the nursery a boho and modern feel to it. It all came together so nicely!

Peachy Blush Nursery

I was inspired largely by projects I saw on project nursery but also on Pinterest. My mom painted after we decided against wall decals. She made the mobile herself! I wanted a modern meets boho vibe.

Nola’s Nursery

I wanted to make baby Nola’s nursery as girly as possible, yet keep neutral tones. I wanted this nursery to be as sweet and a room a little girl would love to play make believe and dress up in.

Woodland Nursery

This is a woodland theme nursery for my first child, a boy. I wanted to create a space that inspires adventure, love for animals and the outdoors.

Hot Air Balloon Toddler Room

During designing my son bedroom I was focused on details and colors. I wanted to add some unique accents, which is hard to find in regular stores. My idea was to use and mix few colors like green, yellow and navy blue and still stay in minimal look. You can find here a vintage pieces and some modern accents as well. I use wallpaper on one wall and green paint to get more color to bedroom. I feel this room is perfect for my toddler.

Flower Child

We were looking for a boho vintage but also a modern take on a floral/daisy nursery. I think we nailed it on this one. Every aspect of our daughters nursery is bright and fun but also warm and welcoming!

Neutral Arctic Nursery

My partner is a big fan of the Arctic and wanted to incorporate Arctic animals into the nursery. I wanted to keep things more neutral and mid century to to stay in line with the rest of our home. I think we really did a great job of keeping the neutral arctic vibe for our little guy’s nursery.

Down in the Jungle

Baby Bennetts gorgeous Jungle themed nursery was inspired by the amazing tropical wall paper hiding different animals and boasting fresh greens and orange colouring.
Starting with the wallpaper, we were able to choose natural centre pendant, white base furniture and a soft jute rug to take from the darkness off the floor.
Staying neutral but fun draws people in but not so much it isn’t overwhelming for bub. Soft curtains and books offering a soft personal touch.

Lennon Change’s The World – Recycling 3rd Birthday

My little guy has been obsessed with the trash truck since he’s been able to show expression. I wanted to create a theme for Lennon’s 3rd birthday that focused on changing the world, recycling, and saving the planet while concentrating on his love for the trash truck.
We started with a color palette of sage, slate blue, brown, yellow, and a darker green. From there, I was set on building out a whole center for Lennon that focused on recycling inclusive of the truck, of course, a recycle can with an image of a tree as part of saving the planet, a rack with Waste Management vests, and a recycling center that focused on all the items we can recycle.
Cat from Modest Peach absolutely nailed this build-out and my vision. We used the recycle cart as a dessert stand to showcase all the incredibly beautiful desserts and cakes made by Dien of Sweet Deetails. Dien also designed the graphic of Lennon as a Waste Recycle Worker. We also customized each child at the party with a graphic design of themselves as a Waste Recycle Worker. Malisa from Creative Amme then created place cards for each child for their table settings. I also got customized trash can utensil holders with each child’s name made and ideally suited stir sticks of a recycling truck and the phrase “Let’s Change The World.”
Party Shop Ave did an amazing balloon install to resemble trashing coming out of cans, and the truck and Shana from Sharp Balloons made Lennon’s little garbage truck balloon that he would not let go of. As always, Brie from Pavan Floral stunned us with her gorgeous floral arrangements. We also had bumper cars for the kids, a massive hit provided by Busy Bee Soft Play rentals.
The highlight of all was the Waste Management team arriving. I have never seen a happier Lennon. They let him go into the truck and blow the horn. They brought him a present. It was truly special. Hopefully, these kids understood the importance of recycling and striving to save this planet.  Photos by the incredible Kara Coleen never fail to capture every event so beautifully.

Beach Boho Nursery

This room was inspired by our love for the beach and boho design. I enjoy creating design styles that reflect the people who live in a home and this room does exactly that. My wife and I always grew up going to the beach and we find the sights and sounds so relaxing and calming that we had to make it a part of our nursery. I mixed a variety of vintage furniture with more modern pieces in our 1920’s home to create an eclectic feeling. I then layered softer textures and more natural and woven materials to bring out that boho vibe. The room we are using as our nursery is on the smaller side, so it was important for us to maximize storage. When creating your nurseries be sure to add a little of what is special to you. We can’t wait for our little one to arrive and use this beach boho nursery!

Boho Desert Nursery

As soon as I started thinking about my nursery, I knew that I’d want a natural, warm & earthy colour palette (which has to include some of my favourite colour, Mustard!) in a modern boho style, with a hint of a desert theme. We found out we were having another baby girl, so I wanted to incorporate a hint of dusty rose colour through the room also. I love the softness of rainbow/arch shapes, so you’ll see I’ve incorporated hints of this shape throughout. I also knew I needed to include special pieces from one of my favourite brands, Boho Baby Heaven; a very small family business, run by a mother-daughter duo based in Hungary. Mariann & Inez specialize in bohemian style home/nursery decor & toys, all made completely by hand. I shared my ideas about the theme of the nursery them, and I knew they would create the perfect pieces to suit. They exceeded my expectations. These pieces are all so special to me, they evoke such joy & have tied together my nursery space so perfectly. Inez did a guest blog post previously featuring the creative & design process of these pieces. I’ve tried to keep a repetition of elements throughout this room; using light wood & natural elements such as rattan & cane, with the warm earthy colours, and pops of mustard & dusty rose. Before Maisie arrived, I would spent quiet moments in here sitting in the papasan chair whilst sipping on a tea. The golden afternoon sun diffusing softly through the curtains; to me, the room feels warm, happy & completely calm. It’s my little nursery oasis! Our two cats seem to agree as I catch them both sleeping happily in here every day.

Theo’s Baby Nursery

I chose to do surf theme/nautical because we have a house in cape cod and I want to take my son there and want him to like the water.

avatar

Gwen’s nursery

I wanted to create a beautiful nursery for our baby girl. I didn’t want it to look too childish just elegant and feminine. The wallpaper is where my vision started and it all sprang from there! I love floral in a little girl nursery and I loved the idea of black and white with a pop of blush and some earthy boho neutrals.

Baby Girl’s Nursery

Ever since my nana passed, whenever we see a monarch, we say “there’s nana!” I swear whenever I see one, she slows down to say hi and then flies off. As soon as we found out we were having a little girl, I knew I wanted to incorporate butterflies into her nursery to have her great nana with her.
