Grayson’s Gray, Green and Blue Nursery
I had so much fun decorating my sons nursery. I would do it the exact same if I had to do it over.

This first birthday party was built around a pink and gold princess theme. I loved the princess crown forks, and the beautiful cake topper! This party was a total DIY project! We painted the vases made the tutus and so much more! I am ecstatic with the way it turned out. Perfect!

When mamma-to-be Morgan, told her her best friend and graphic designer Kim she was having a baby girl, Kim immediately started designing a shower invitation. Kim knew she wanted the shower colors to be bright and cheerful and incorporate Morgan’s favorite color, orange. From the invitation the rest of the party started to take shape. Kim and fellow party host Stephanie, came up with the other party details and decided to avoid a lot of the “typical baby shower items” like a diaper cake and games. Instead, the morning would be more about celebrating Morgan and her baby girl on the way, Olivia Clair, in a fun and colorful way and of course there would be hints of glam mixed in, just like the fashionable mamma-to-be (who is a market manager for a large national shoe chain).
During the shower a headband making station was set up and guests were able to make unique headbands for the baby girl. Guests, who included friends from High School and College, had a great time picking out the band, flower and any embellishments they wanted to add. Even the un-craftiest of the ladies had fun making headbands, which they just had to hot glue together. Tags were also provided so that Morgan knew who made each headband.
As Morgan opened opened gifts, a stack of envelopes with thank you notes that matched the invitation inside each one, were passed out so that guests could write their address on the front of each envelope. This simple idea was one of Morgan’s favorite things and made getting thank you notes out after the shower so much easier.
Once all the mimosas were drank, cupcakes devoured and gifts opened, guests were given a party favor of a bottle of Coca-Cola Classic that had a custom wrapper that said “Morgan is ready to Pop” with a paper straw attached. Regular coke has always been Morgan’s non-alchoholic drink of choice so it was a fitting a favor and perfect send off for a day all about Morgan and her baby girl on the way.
A pink and gray nursery with a romantic, shabby chic twist.
I chose purple, grey and pops of teal for Adleigh’s nursery because I wanted a space that she could grow into and use as a toddler room. I created a lot of items in the nursery to make it feel more cozy. My sister-in-law drew a few images that I framed and placed above the changing table. I included some pictures from Adleigh’s hospital photo shoot and included some booties that my aunt made. You can check out more ideas over at my blog www.theorganizedmama.com
I wanted to design a room that would be perfect to grow with our baby boy, nothing too babyish but still very fun. I love the neutral, gray color scheme and adding in a pop of color with the accents (that could easily be changed out at a later time). There is still a lot more I want to incorporate into the room (a rug and more DIY decor projects), but with my due date fast approaching this will be an ever-evolving project!
A modern take on a boy scout themed nursery using a combination of vintage finds and colorful patterns.
I have designed a nursery suited for our princess on the way. I took elements of design that I love and played around with them to make them child friendly.
Taylor’s mom decided to surprise her for her 11th birthday with a sophisticated new space featuring her favorite color.
We went with the gender neutral brown and red sock monkey theme.
I crave originality and the web is bombarded by balloon boxes, colored cakes, and mustache/bow parties. I came up with this idea and it is unique, easy, fun, and affordable! What more can you ask for?
I designed this nursery for my son, whom I affectionately call HDawg.
A calm modern baby boys nursery in mustard yellow, gray and white with aeroplane details.
We created a cool and calming nursery with a light warm gray and shades of blue!
This nursery was designed to welcome sweet baby girl Campbell. The room is fairly small so light and bright colors were necessary to keep it feeling as large as possible.
Gender neutral nursery designed with a modern woodland/ forest theme. Walls are a soft grey/green/blue with orange, grey and blue accents. Lots of budget friendly DIY projects in a small space with quirky touches.
Designing our little girl’s nursery will forever be one of my favorite memories. I had so much fun spending many a sleepless night pregnant and scouring the internet for DIY projects to create a pretty, welcoming space for our daughter. My husband also helped. He did the faux wainscoting (a fun and easy project I snagged on Pinterest from this blog). He was also kind enough to humor me while we searched (and searched) several hardware stores for the perfect color gray.

Gray chevron nursery featuring Liz and Roo bumperless bedding in gray chevron, accented with a gray suzani minky blanket. One wall was painted in a wide chevron, while the other walls are solid gray; the rug is slate, and the lamp has the chevron design, too. She accented the crib with a gray elephant baby sham. We love the gray and yellow balls that hang from the ceiling, adding a splash of color.
We wanted a unisex nursery, but wanted the colors to be unique. With three navy walls and one gray wall, we made a nursery that is modern and fun. We have dachshunds and Bernese Mountain dogs, and we incorporated them into the decor. The dachshund chair was bought long before we were pregnant and we planned the nursery around it.
