Baby Bennett’s Nursery
We wanted a nursery that wasn’t so “baby”. I didn’t want baby blue everywhere! I wanted something fun, but pretty. We went with lime green, grey and white as our color scheme.

This is a second, more colorful take on Landon’s original nursery ( http://projectnursery.com/projects/baby-landons-owl-nursery/ ). We spent his first year sharing a room at my parent’s house, and when he turned one we moved into a place of our own! I kept most of the same things but changed and added a few things.
In the original nursery I really wanted to use a bright, fun paint color for the walls but it didn’t really work with the decal I chose. So in the new nursery I made sure to chose the paint color first and the wall decal second.
Basically, it is his original nursery perfected :)
(I also included pictures of his bathroom decor since it’s connected to his room and it goes with the theme.)
Our families threw us a beautiful pink, grey, white, and glitter baby shower! It was full of lovely patterned papers mixed with hand painted illustrations and included baby photos of my husband and I as well as a slideshow of my baby bump’s progression thus far.
I call this a “little boy room” because it’s not quite a nursery and not quite a “big boy room” either! My little guy is 18 months old…He had an owl themed-nursery from the day he was born! When we moved this past summer, I was faced with having to set up a brand new room. Although he had outgrown the baby-ish-ness of his old room, we weren’t quite ready for a full decor overhaul. Instead, I just updated his owl nursery to have a slightly more grown up feel – that will hopefully last for a little while longer until we are ready to do a big boy room. You can read all about this room HERE!

We redecorated a spare bedroom and transformed it into a Nursery. The room was previously used by young family members whenever they came to visit. They painted, drew, wrote and scribbled on all the walls. Using them as their own personal canvases to express their artistic personalities. With our permission, of course. Once we found out we were pregnant we begun to brainstorm ideas and scoured the Internet for inspiration. The video linked below highlights the transformation from a crayon crime scene into the infants private playground its become. The before and after.

I wanted a feminine nursery that wasn’t too babyish… That she could grow with for years to come. I brought in the owls to give it somewhat of a childish feeling.
This nursery is a mixture of modern, vintage and DIY. I loosely tied in a forest animal theme, however, it was important to me not to be constricted by the theme or make it match too much. I also didn’t want to make it a stereotypical boy’s room, instead favoring a gender neutral feel. Another thing I should mention is that this room was created on a budget and whenever possible I reused and recycled items I already had.
This room was designed for my son Reed. This is my favorite mural because it was the first time I was able to create something for my own child. I started this project when I was 8 months pregnant and loved every single brush stroke. The design includes children’s songs, fables, nursery rhymes, and tons of tiny critters and animals to keep a baby entertained.
This project was so much fun. This was the result of an E-design I did for a client who needed help making a special room for her daughter. Although they live in Hawaii, we weren’t going for a tropical nursery. We wanted something calm, modern with a few featured elements.
Baby Gender Neutral for our little girl or boy that’s baking!
I decided to make Summer a little dress with some leftover fabric from some toys I made to go in her room. Now she matches!
A first birthday party for my little girl Summer.
I wanted a nice, light and peaceful room for our little girl who was due to be born in Summer. I started early as we were fairly budget-conscious and wanted a beautiful room, for a fraction of the price!
I wanted a clean, bright and fun space for my little girl.
We love animals and skandi design and wanted a bright fun nursery for our wee girl that combined everything we love.
We wanted our baby’s nursery to be bright, modern, and comfortable. Nothing too girly, but definitely a modern, feminine vibe.
My dear friend was due with a baby girl in December 4 weeks after my due date! When we both found out we were pregnant we automatically wanted to throw each other baby showers. Little did I know that we would be buying a house and moving in 1 week before I was due to throw her shower! So, while my house was sparse, the shower was lovely!
The nursery is designed with a giraffe theme for our new baby, Madeline Esther.
