Description
An owl themed baby shower with gender neutral colors
Design Inspiration
Pinterest (of course) was the major source of inspiration. Also, the cake was from Wilton's "Yearbook" that shows examples of cake pans used in different ways.
Decorating Style
My sister in law is among the few that want to be surprised about the baby's gender (an admirable feat!). Her nursery colors reflect this: yellow, gray and teal. She also loves owls and, luckily, they happen to be the new trend. To provide some diy decorations for her nursery, we decided to throw her a baby shower with the same theme!

The thumbprint guest book was easy to use and had a clever design.
Advice
Don't get stuck on trying to find a certain decoration or product! Go with the flow and gather things slowly. I drive myself crazy when I come up with an idea then try to find what's in my head. Instead, use what you find as inspiration, it'll be quicker and easier.

That "guess the due date" game looks fun! I also love the thumbprint art in lieu of a guest book.
