Description
My children's rooms are my sanctuary during the day. This room needed to do double duty because we don't have a separate play area. That being said, I still wanted it to feel like a nursery and a place that was her own special space.
Design Inspiration
The painting in the red frame was the inspiration. Little did I know at the time, but Olive's namesake painted it. Felt like it was meant to be. Which is what I love about taking my time designing rooms- it all has a way of coming together on it's own.
Decorating Style
Using the "crap" I've got! I love to use something I already have and make it work or make it better. This room is full of those projects.
