Living in Texas, it’s so hard to put up good looking wallpaper because ALL the houses have textured walls (don’t get me started on how much I dislike textured walls)!
I fell in love with Caitlin Wilson’s “Citron Vert” wallpaper and I knew I needed it for my baby girl’s nursery! However, because of the textured walls, and price of this particular wallpaper (Caitlin Wilson ain’t cheap, people) I needed to figure out a more practical way to incorporate it into the room. After some Pinterest searching and inspiration, I decided wallpaper panels were the way to go! We went to Lowe’s and grabbed some pre-cut panels as well as some white trim. We located the studs in the wall, nailed the panels to the wall, then wallpapered over the panels. We finished it off with the trim and a nail gun, then sunk the nails and filled them in with some caulking. The finished product is AMAZING and we are so happy with how it turned out!
