When we found out we were expecting a girl, I instantly knew I wanted the colors to be gray and pink. I have always loved birds and thought that this little girl’s nursery could be sprinkled with birds as well (although I tried to stay away from too many birds…like the movie “The Birds”).

when I search that mobile it appears it is meant to just hang from the ceiling. How did you connect it to the bed?

The paint brand is Restoration Hardware “slate” I think. The artist who made the bird mobile brain stormed with me and actually redesigned the mobile to attach to the wall. There are little metal loops that were hooked onto screws in the wall.
