Finding out we were expecting a little boy meant transforming our daughter's sweet pastel Peppa Pig filled bedroom into something more neutral. I fell in love with the woodland theme..
Design Inspiration
I've always love the woodland theme for a nursery and after a lot of searching here, on Google images and on Pinterest got me well and truly inspired.
Decorating Style
Home made! I love adding a personal touch to my home and making as much as possible from scratch is a must for me, especially since I run my own business making nursery accessories for others!
Project Details
The wall letters, wall art, photo frames, keepsake boxes and toy box were all made by myself - you can find my products at www.eviesbabyboutique.com
The shelves were made by my other half and the rest of the nik naks and decor were either gifts or bargain finds at homeware stores or on eBay - needless to say this nursery didn't cost us a fortune which is a good thing since we need to start over buying everything new for the baby.. unless he doesn't mind the colour pink!
Favorite Items
The toy chest is my favourite thing in the whole room! And I'm so impressed with my partner's DIY skills building thee shelves & rail!
Advice
If you have a specific image in your mind and you can't find what you're looking for.. do it yourself! If at first you don't succeed try and try again.. failing that find someone who creates custom pieces to whom you can describe your image!

I really like your red toy chest, too. Must have been hard to let go of the pink room... But since they are sharing a space, it had to be gender neutral. Good job, mommy.
