We did not know the gender prior to having our baby. However, he was born 2 months early and in the NICU for several weeks which gave us time to make the nursery perfectly fit for a baby boy!
The wallpaper from Chasing Paper was our starting point and we built from there. The pops of color on the pom poms on the drapes and the "You are my Sunshine" quilt help brighten the gray tones. We kept the Ikea crib simple, used a a World War II dresser from my childhood, and found the changing table from a local woman on Instagram. I made the bookshelves myself for under $10 and utilized Etsy to find customized prints for above his changing table.
Our photographer took family pictures throughout our house. We love the images of our master bedroom and family room she captured with the new addition to our family.
We love how it turned out and know he will be able to grow into the room for years to come!
