Design Inspiration
Having been in the baby/kids design field for years, I have been dreaming up my own nursery design for a long time. Of course discovering we were having twins (shock of a lifetime) changed things a bit, but the neutral decor was always part of the plan.
Decorating Style
My style is mainly traditional and French, with modern elements mixed in here and there. I also try to buy handmade pieces and support local and independent artists whenever possible.

Advice
Monochromatic schemes can be so elegant and interesting, as long as you have depth of color. Don't be afraid to use non "baby" paint colors-when mixed with the right elements the room will still have a delicate feel. Also, remember that your style does not have to end at the nursery...the room can be an extension of your home decor! Until they are older and have their own opinion about it, the decor is for your enjoyment!
