I started off the nursery wanting to do a “Hamptons Inspired White Safari” but fell in love with the Fiona Walker animal heads and the Land of Nod garland, so that led me to including pops of color.  I loved collecting things for the nursery throughout my pregnancy. For example, when I saw the animal knobs on sale at Anthropologie, I practically jumped for joy. It was the same with the animal planters.  The most difficult item for me was the crib bedding, as I wanted something neutral but also a little bit fun.  I probably spent hours online looking for the perfect crib sheet and blanket.  The crib sheet I eventually at Petit Pehr, and then the rainbow throw I spotted when I was 36 weeks pregnant and binge watching Grace & Frankie! The blanket was used by a character on the show and I knew that I had to have it. I looked it up and found out it was by Annie Selke! It was the perfect item to finish the nursery.
