Navy and Gray Adventure Awaits Vintage Nursery

Description

When my husband and I found out we were expecting a boy, we were ready to convert our guestroom into a nursery fit for a little boy without making it all too gender specific. I had so many ideas for my son's nursery but I knew I would be working with a little space. The goal was to create a peaceful, serene nursery with lots of neutrals and still have touches of blue.  Therefore, I chose a calm color palette of greys and whites with a few navy blue accents. There wasn't necessarily a theme set in stone, I really just wanted to incorporate several gifts that were either made or gifted by family members. I wanted to incorporate a weathered look into the decor since the crib was a vintage looking piece passed down from my niece. I had to refinish a few furniture pieces such as the glider to fit into my overall vision. Ultimately I was completely in love with this tranquil space. My husband built the bookshelves, which worked perfectly for this tiny room. I love that the decor turned out to be elegant, serene, and useful.
