I’m a first time mom and nursery decorator. I wasn’t super impressed with the “boy-themed rooms in a box” options so I created my own design inspiration.

Hi Pam!! My mom actually custom made the curtains and I believe she bought all her supplies at Jo-Ann’s Fabrics. The panels alter both white and navy denim and then lined with black-out material so its nice and dark for nap time :) We later found similar curtains at Pottery Barn for half the price it cost to custom design the curtains…wah, wah.

Is the dresser in your photos the Hemnes dresser from Ikea or did you purchase one of their unfinished ones and paint it yourself?
