Kumari Gardens Nursery

Description

I wanted something whimsical, eclectic, and colorful. I also wanted it to be a room that could grow with her.

**It's still a work in progress... my husband has to finish putting up her crown molding and we need to get new fixture plates**

Design Inspiration

Most of my inspiration came from different pictures I saw on Pinterest!

Project Details

Crib- BabiesRus (discontinued... we had to have this one shipped from Baton Rouge!)

Glider & ottoman - BabiesRus

All fabric used is from the Kumari Gardens line by Dena

Bedding & embroidered pillow - handmade on Etsy by the amazing Jessica http://www.etsy.com/shop/PLJdesign

Large pink frame - originally purchase from IKEA and was black... This was a DIY project as I spray painted it pink, added fabric, and super glued the 'Z' to the fabric inside the frame.

Assorted smaller frames - Hobby Lobby, IKEA, & Marshall's - I spray painted most of them (Except the small white ones)

Dresser - Storkcraft Aspen Dresser/Changer combo http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2559325      Pink crystal knobs were purchased separately from buybuybaby

Long curtains - Kumari Gardens fabric was purchased from www.hawthornethreads.com & I took the fabric to my local seamstress to make the curtains

Wall Paint color - Behr - Aqua Spray

Canvas in the window - DIY project of mine

Favorite Items

It's too hard for me to choose! BUT, I do love my frame collage :)

Where did you get the shelving around the closet? Or is it custom built?

Cheerful and feminine room. I like those colorful frames above the crib.
