I have 3 daughters so when I heard my oldest daughter was having a boy, I couldn't help but start planning this baby shower! Online tools & resources are the best when it comes to planning and coming up with ideas!
Planes, trains and automobiles with the muted primary colors and brown were the main inspiration; All of which could be found in the baby nursery.
Vintage - Casual
Invites were ordered from www.tinyprints.com. They were a simple brown with the same primary colors as the decor. I wouldn't normally recommend, but I purchased a cricut machine and just went crazy creating all kinds of things! Welcome Max, Spoil Me, & Sweet Favors banners came out better than I anticipated. I managed to include in my budget a photographer so we could enjoy our guests. Brittany from www.flashboxshop.com was awesome in capturing this great event. If you're in the Houston Metro area...give her a call! I also ordered baby shower games online via http://www.etsy.com/shop/MadeByAPrincess?utm_source=convo&utm_medium=trans_email&utm_campaign=convo_html
These game cards definately made for a fun time and a change from the usual baby shower games!
Baby bottom cake was absolutely perfect and was exactly what we ordered! from http://suzybeez.com/
Also opted to do a full fruit bar instead of the usual fruit trays. Our guest were given favor bags with small thank you notes that read "Babies are sweet and so are you! Thank you for joining us! Please fill your bag with sweet favors!"
Favorite item was the cake! Not only was it beautiful, it was absolutely delicious!
My advice, is start early! Keep a notebook on hand with you...especially when shopping because you never know when you might find something that will suit your needs!

Max is lucky to have a grandma like you! The dessert/food table looks really lovely, especially with the fruits in different colors and the sweet treats! The cake also looks really cute.
