Description
This shower was planned for me by my best friends and family. It was a beautiful day. It was not a surprise but the theme of the event was and I couldn't have been more happy.
Design Inspiration
The design inspiration was taken from the invitation. It was a gender neutral party and the colors were orange, lime and teal.
Decorating Style
My decorating style is more modern and contemporary. I like a lot of pops of color!
Project Details
The guests each received lip balm from Eos. The desserts were done by a friend, Rachel Resch. The flowers were done by Karen Lock design.
Favorite Items
The cake was beautiful, organic and the fondant was yummy. There was also a "Wishes for Baby" card for friends and family to fill out. I enjoyed reading the heartfelt sentiments.
Advice
Don't be afraid to let your friends and family just go with it. I am very type A and was so glad I was not involved in the style of the shower. It turned out better than I could have dreamed.
