Description
Gorgeous Modern Owl Nursery Photographed by Laura Winslow Photography, Phoenix Arizona (www.laurawinslowphotography.com)
Design Inspiration
Being from the South I love anything monogrammed, initialled or reflectant of family and past, yet I crave a modern clean-line look, so I'm always attempting to find that balance. I left the personal treasures in the details like the monogrammed "R" linen hand-towel found in Charleston, NC on a mother-daughter trip, and a sterling silver napkin ring engraved with "Reid" found by my mother in law on a trip to Round Top, TX/
Decorating Style
As with my entire house, I wanted the nursery to be a reflection of modern, yet classic fare ... nothing planned and very little purchased as a set but collected over several months, along with the anticipation of the baby.

Advice
Incorporate personal items that you love, not everything in a nursery has to be about baby.

I like the choice of colors and the mobile. I like the owl that's above the crib and next to the window. That's a nice touch!
