Everything started with our collection of vintage children's literature; we also love a mix of natural elements and colorful, modern touches.

Project Details

Nearly all the vintage books are from Half Price Books children's nostalgia section, including the Oz books above the changing table/dresser. The crib and glider/rocker are babyletto, and the bookshelf, dresser, red moose, and blue/green lamps are from Ikea. The bear pillow is from Etsy; the raccoon plush is Jellycat, and the red bear is from Land of Nod (as are the crib sheet, changing pad cover, and raccoon pillow). The white wall moose is from Z Gallerie and the shower curtain is from Society6.

Favorite Items

The cat's favorite item is clearly the floor lamb pillow from Restoration Hardware; my favorites will always be the books, especially our German, Spanish, and French editions of Where the Wild Things Are.

Advice

Don't be afraid to mix styles; just make sure there's balance.
