Modern Bright Boy Nursery

Description

We wanted something that would transition well to a "big boy" room in a few years, so instead of a theme or anything too babyish, we went for more modern with bright colors and patterns!

Design Inspiration

I found the orange and cream polka dot fabric and went from there!!

I would love to know where the chair came from!?!?

I got the chair from Kids Furniture in Little Rock, AR (the same place I bought the unfinished table and bookcase, and dresser, as well). They had several styles of glider/rockers and lots of different fabrics to choose from...we chose the neutral so we could use it in the future in another room if we wanted!

I love everything about this room--the colors, the fabrics, everything! Amy, you are obviously very talented!

Where did you get the green frames? Is Tripp painted on the wall, on wood, or a decal?

The frames are Organic Bloom, but since I decorated the nursery I found a new favorite place to buy frames. Www.cutitoutalready.com has inexpensive, unfinished frames in fun shapes that you can paint to match any decor! I have some on my project for my sons 1st birthday party!! The sign above the bed is a wooden sign that I painted!
