Description
This is our Nursery for our first baby. We wanted to be surprised about the sex, so we tried to keep the colors and theme gender neutral. We liked the idea about a farm theme room, but we also have a very modern clean style in the rest of our house.
Design Inspiration
The only thing we really borrowed from another nursery was the Tiffany blue color, matched with pops of bright yellow. The rest was us having fun with the details.
Decorating Style
Modern, clean, minimum, fun, colorful
Project Details
The crib and changing table were from edenbaby.com We loved the embossed texture on the front and sides. The decal came from whatisblik.com. It really gave the room a lot of energy.
Favorite Items
I loved how the wooden crates turned out on the walls. They were filled with gifts at our shower, but we decided to paint them white and hang them on the wall for shelving. It was a great way to reference the farm theme is a subtle way, that still felt modern, I even made a custom one for a bookshelf. The chair is another favorite focus. We custom ordered it from Wayside furniture. It is an American company, family owned and took about 6 weeks to make.
Where did you get the prints that are on the walls? so cute!
Great room! Love the theme! Was wondering what did you use to hang the crates?
Boy, this baby sure is lucky to have such wonderful (and creative) parents!
This looks absolutely incredible!!! My favorite part is the chair – what an amazing accent piece!
